What we do
Smartcar is the leading developer platform for mobility businesses. Founded in 2015, we are backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and Energize Capital. From auto insurance and car sharing to EV charging and fleet management, businesses of all kinds use the Smartcar API to securely access car data with customer consent. By making it easy to connect to their customers’ vehicles, we enable companies to focus on what’s important: unlocking the freedom of movement for everyone.
Our team is also completely remote, with members based across the US and the UK. We offer a flexible work schedule, so you can run out to grab some groceries or catch that 3 PM yoga class you’ve always wanted to try.

The interview process
All interviews are virtual through video chat. Our process is transparent and takes about two weeks from the first conversation to the job offer.
Intro call

Hiring manager call
Tijdens dit telefoongesprek zal de wervingsmanager dieper ingaan op je achtergrond en vragen stellen over projecten waaraan je in het verleden hebt gewerkt. Stel gerust zoveel vragen als je wilt.
Take-home challenge
De uitdaging beoordeelt je vaardigheden in relatie tot de functie.
Challenge review
Dit is een videochat met een lid van ons team. Samen bespreek je je voltooide uitdaging en je proces daaromheen.
Final stage
De laatste fase vindt plaats via videochat. Het omvat verschillende interviews en een virtuele lunch van 45 minuten met twee leden van het team.
