By integrating Smartcar's leading vehicle API platform directly into the myWallbox app, we are creating a seamless ecosystem where the car, the charger, and the grid communicate effortlessly.

For too long, EV drivers have had to accept a subpar experience. Drivers had to consult separate car apps to find critical data like the battery's state of charge (SoC) in the automaker’s app and use another app to manage their charger. This led to a less-than-perfect user experience.

- Intelligent, SoC-Based Charging: Go beyond simple scheduling. With our new integration, you can set precise charging goals right from the myWallbox app, like, "Charge my car to 80% by 7 a.m. using the cheapest off-peak electricity." Your charger will now know your car's real-time battery level and can intelligently manage the charging session to meet your target, optimising for cost and battery health.
- A Truly Unified Charging Experience: No more switching between apps. See your vehicle’s SoC, estimated range, and charging status all in one place—the myWallbox app. This creates a single source of truth for your charging needs, dramatically improving convenience and app engagement.
- Enhanced Battery Health and Control: Easily set and automate charging limits directly on your vehicle through the myWallbox app. This helps you follow your manufacturer's recommendations for battery care, such as limiting daily charging to 80%, extending the life of your vehicle's battery. You'll even be able to control charging on chargers that are offline by communicating directly with the vehicle.
- Universal Compatibility for Smart Grid Programs: Participate in demand response and other smart charging programs to save money and help stabilise the grid. Smartcar's platform is compatible with nearly all EV brands, removing previous hardware barriers and opening up new revenue opportunities for customers through flexibility services.
